Each organization offers different levels of registration, teacher training standards and continuing training requirements. For example, Yoga Alliance International Registry is a globally recognized organization with unique registration levels such as Master Yoga Teacher, RYT/RYS 250 PLUS Level 1 Advanced, RYT/RYS 350 Level 2 Advanced and RYS 500 PLUS Advance Diploma. Additionally, they do not require continued training to maintain membership unless teachers want to upgrade to higher membership levels.
